VAD to offer certified training on behalf of the network security solutions vendor
SCOPE Middle East, an emerging network performance and security value-added distributor (VAD), has announced it has been appointed as Stormshield Network Training Centre (SNTC) for the Middle East.

Under the accord, SCOPE Middle East will offer certified training for Stormshield Network products and services, customers will have a choice of instructor-led courses (ILT) and virtual classroom training (VCT).

“Stormshield Network Training Centres are partner facilities that deliver official technical courses presented by certified Stormshield instructors,” said Hakam Kayed, sales director MEA-APAC for Stormshield. “We are happy that SCOPE Middle East, one of our valued added distributors has taken this initiative to further strengthen their position in the region while adding value for their partners and customers.”

Fadi Abu Ekab, chief executive office, SCOPE Middle East, said that: “We are extremely excited to be a Stormshield Network Training Centre in the region. This addition to our service portfolio enables us to offer design, deployment and now training for Stormshield solutions.

Ekab added that: “At SCOPE Middle East we position ourselves as a vendor representative company, not just an IT distributor. Therefore, our emphasis is on adding value to the brands we represent, while enhancing our offerings to our customers.”

Fadi explained that SCOPE Middle East always wants to make a difference to the overall product experience rather than simply moving boxes. “The timing of this initiative is highly relevant as a recent spate of cybercrime and malware threats in the region have urged people to improve their computer literacy,” he said.
